Simple & Honest

The Process

Order + upload

Select options, add notes, and upload your images at checkout. you’ll receive a confirmation email.

Step icon

Design & proof (for portraits, leather carvings, and inscriptions)

We translate your photos into a clean design.you’ll receive one proof for review within [X–Y business days].

  • What you can change: minor layout tweaks, spelling, small proportion fixes.
  • What you can’t: a completely new pose or a different pet (that’s a new design).

Hand-crafting

Our makers build your piece using time-honoured techniques. Handmade means subtle variations—this is a feature, not a flaw. Ceramic flow (core stages): forming (incl. joining), trimming/refining, bisque firing at ~800 °C, hand painting (underglaze), glazing, kiln loading, high firing at 1250 °C, detail finishing/polish. Drying and kiln schedules are real constraints; rushing risks cracks/warping, so we don’t.

Why They Last

Materials & Finishes

Ceramic

Our high-quality ceramic pieces are crafted from premium clay and fired at 1250°C for durability. Each piece is hand-painted with food-safe underglazes and finished with a clear protective glaze.

Colours may shift slightly during firing—a natural characteristic of handmade ceramic art.

Leather

Genuine full-grain leather that develops a beautiful patina over time. We source our leather from responsible tanneries committed to ethical practices.

Each leather piece is hand-cut and dyed using eco-friendly processes, ensuring longevity and resistance to wear.

Wool (for needle felting)

100% pure wool sourced from sustainable farms, chosen for its exceptional felting properties. The natural lanolin in the wool helps the fibers bind together securely.

Each sculpture is carefully crafted with attention to detail, capturing the unique features and personality of your pet through the texture and colour of the wool.

Hardware & packaging

Stainless steel hardware that resists corrosion and tarnishing, ensuring your keepsake remains beautiful for years to come. All metal components are nickel-free for sensitive skin.

Our packaging is eco-friendly, using recycled and recyclable materials whenever possible. Each item comes, perfect for gift-giving or safekeeping.

Acrylic portraits

We offer a range of custom finishes to add a touch of personalisation to your piece. Whether you want a unique colour scheme, a custom pattern, or a special effect, we can create a finish that complements your design.

Clear Boundaries

Revisions Policy

Included

One round of minor edits at proof stage.

Extra changes

Available at a fair craft fee

After approval

We move straight to making; structural changes aren't possible.

For ceramics, changes are only possible before glazing.

After glaze application or once a piece is in the kiln, structural or colour changes aren't feasible. Expect minor tone variation inherent to high-temperature underglaze work; this is not a defect.

Additional redesigns beyond the included proof are available at [20% of the selling price/round].
